  • Hi - Your physician may recommend a regimen other than what Capillus recommends based on each individual patient’s history and response. Capillus does recommend 6 minutes per day or 12 minutes every other day.

If your doctor has recommended 12 minutes per day, we suggest splitting the treatments - 6 minutes in the morning, 6 minutes in the evening.

Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you

  • Although 6 minutes is recommended, is there any benefit to going beyond that limit?

  • Hi Thunders4u - We actually have a great article that explains the protocol here: https://support.capillus.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037398534-Why-can-t-I-use-Capillus-for-longer-than-6-minutes-per-day-

Let us know if that answers your question. Thank you

  • Thank you Alex, I had actually already read that article but I was really more interested in knowing if more than 6 minutes would help a heavy smoker better (a little caveat I forgot to mention.) I do know its more problematic for smokers to regrow hair.
