How does the Capillus cap compare to Propecia pills?

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:

Q: How does the Capillus cap compare to the use of Propecia pills in terms of effectiveness to preserve hair from further loss and/or to help grow hair?

A: There are currently no studies that specifically compare the efficacy of Propecia® (finasteride) to Capillus laser therapy. Both are medically accepted as treatment options and have both been proven to treat hair loss. Capillus laser therapy can be used as a stand-alone treatment or in conjunction with other hair loss solutions such as Propecia® (finasteride). Both hair loss solutions require patience as noticeable hair growth takes time. Unlike Propecia, Capillus laser therapy can be used to treat hair loss in men AND women and has no known adverse side-effects. Many physicians are hesitant to prescribe finasteride to patients for fear of the harmful side-effects, some of which may be irreversible. It is important to take all factors into consideration when deciding the best hair growth solution for you.
